Thermo King Mechanic

The trailer/reefer mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of Thermo King Units.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for repairs on refrigeration units including diesel engines and overhaul refrigeration component repair and compressor rebuild
• Diagnose and repair, replace or rebuild
  • Brake Systems
  • Electrical Systems
  • Cooling Systems
  • Fuel Systems
  • Tractor/Trailer suspensions
  • Frame
• All other duties assigned

Requirements

• Experience with refrigeration units
• Must know general repairs and PM criteria
• Must have a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must be available to work weekends, overtime and holidays
• High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED)
